Between Heaven & Earth Chandelier

The "Between Heaven and Earth" chandelier, installed at the luxurious St. Regis Marsa Arabia on The Pearl Doha, Qatar, is a bespoke lighting Installation designed by Mohamad Makouk and Ghada Sholy. Created during the global pandemic, this chandelier symbolizes the longing for simplicity, connection, and the natural world.
The design features flowers representing our connection to earth, growth, and the hope for a flourishing future, while the birds symbolize freedom, joy, and new beginnings. Suspended in the stunning atrium of St. Regis Marsa Arabia, this chandelier connects the heavens and the earth, radiating light, warmth, and tranquility.
This luxury lighting installation is a symbol of resilience, offering a reminder to pause and reflect on the serenity and beauty that exists between heaven and earth.

Oysters Chandelier

The Oysters Chandelier at Kempinski Marsa Malaz, The Pearl Doha, Qatar is a striking homage to Qatar's rich heritage in pearl diving. This bespoke hand-blown glass chandelier was carefully designed to reflect the unique beauty of oysters—nature’s most precious treasures.
Suspended within the atrium, overlooking the Arabian Sea, the 10-meter long and 7-meter wide main cluster of glass resembles the delicate folds of oyster shells, beautifully merging with the blue waters of the sea. Covered in a metallic liquid finish, each piece captures the luminous, iridescent quality of oysters found in the deep blue, creating an immersive visual experience that echoes Qatar's connection to the sea and pearls.
Behind this stunning centerpiece, three smaller clusters of oysters stretch along the corridor, seamlessly complementing the grand chandelier and enhancing the room's serene atmosphere. This monumental installation was designed by Ghada Sholy and Mohamad Makouk, with expert execution by Anima Gallery Design Studio.
As part of the art consultancy services provided by Anima Gallery, this work elevates the experience of the Kempinski Marsa Malaz, uniting the natural elegance of the sea with the architectural beauty of the space.

Luxury Chandelier

The Tree of Life Chandelier at Kempinski Marsa Malaz, Qatar is a bespoke masterpiece, merging hand-blown glass, stainless steel, and real mother-of-pearl into a floating sculpture of light.
Suspended 13 meters high and 7 meters wide, this luminous installation transforms the grand lobby into a celestial cascade of reflections, embodying the harmony of nature and the precision of high design.
Designed by Ghada Sholy and Mohamad Makouk via Anima Gallery Design Studio, this sculptural chandelier redefines luxury lighting—where craftsmanship meets innovation, and light becomes an architectural statement.
